WITHOUT THE BS

MEDIA MAISON: OUR ANNUAL LOVE LETTER (IN GIFT FORM
Every year, our sister firm Media Maison Public Relations sends out small tokens of appreciation to the hardworking journalists, segment producers, and editors who somehow still take our calls, open our emails, and occasionally—miraculously—say “yes.”
These gifts are our way of saying thank you for:
Working with our team (even when your inbox is a war zone)
Not wanting to kill us (we notice and appreciate it)
And for the fantastic coverage and collaborations that make our clients’ year.
We keep it fun, personal, and cost-friendly—because gratitude shouldn’t need a luxury budget to make an impression. Here’s a look at a few of our past creations: clever, tongue-in-cheek, and very Media Maison.

The Scoop Spoon
Because sometimes the best “scoop” isn’t breaking news — it’s the one that comes with gelato.
Created by Media Maison as a playful nod to our favorite journalists and producers, this silver-plated ice cream scoop is engraved with “Got the Scoop” and paired with a pint of small-batch gelato labeled “Confidential.”
A little wink to the newsroom grind — a reminder to take a break, savor the moment, and enjoy the sweet side of the story.

The “No Comment” Sleep Mask
Even the most relentless reporter deserves a headline-free night.
As a tongue-in-cheek thank-you to our media friends, Media Maison created the “No Comment” sleep mask — a luxurious black silk mask embroidered in bold white letters. Equal parts glam and grin, it was our way of saying: rest easy, you’ve earned it.
Because sometimes the best response… really is no comment.

The Press Pass Keychain
A little nostalgia for the ones who never stop chasing the story.
This retro-inspired Press Pass Keychain was designed by Media Maison as a tribute to the journalists, producers, and storytellers we work with every day. Engraved with “Always on the Record,” it’s a nod to long hours, tight deadlines, and the art of getting it right — with just the right touch of newsroom swagger.

“Sorry for the Follow-Up” Chocolate Bar
Because sometimes an apology tastes better in chocolate.
Created by maison soiree for Media Maison as part of our Publicist’s Apology Box, this gourmet milk chocolate bar is engraved with the words “Sorry for the Follow-Up Email.” It’s our lighthearted nod to every persistent pitch and every journalist who’s ever opened one anyway.
A little humor. A little sweetness. And just enough self-awareness to make it unforgettable.

Scent of Forgiveness
A tongue-in-cheek peace offering from Media Maison — for the shitty pitches, the overflowing inboxes, and the desperate “just circling back” emails when we know our client is perfect for your segment.
We humbly ask for forgiveness… and promise this candle smells better than our persistence.

An Ornament Filled with Words
In a year when words meant more than ever, Media Maison is gifting something simple but meaningful — clear ornaments filled with shredded dictionary pages, each tagged with the quote:
“Filled with Words. Because they never go out of style.”
A little wit, a little sentiment, and a reminder that storytelling — in every form — will always matter.
xoxo, Media Maison 2025

Edit Bay Time Capsule
A behind-the-scenes keepsake for the ones who turn chaos into television. Each acrylic cube holds real artifacts from production life — coffee cups, call sheets, Polaroids, and pure genius — sealed in time to honor the beautiful madness of making TV

Interview Roulette Deck
For the producers who’ve heard every answer — and want better ones. We created a sleek deck of cards filled with clever, offbeat interview prompts designed to spark unforgettable moments on air. Because sometimes, the best story starts with the right question.

The Idea Emergency Kit
A few years back, Media Maison sent this to our favorite producers — a tongue-in-cheek survival box for when the rundown dies at 3 a.m. Inside: a spinning “idea generator,” a gold pen engraved “Rewrite History,” and a “Wild Card Pitch” envelope from our archives. Equal parts inspiration and inside joke — because brilliance sometimes needs a backup plan.

The Juice Box
For the producers running on fumes — and caffeine.
Media Maison created this tongue-in-cheek “Juice Box” cooler packed with cold brew, energy shots, and mini champagne splits. Labeled “Refill as Needed” and “We Keep You Juiced,” it’s part survival kit, part celebration — and entirely on brand for anyone who lives on deadlines and dreams.
